Courteney Cox wants the old Kanye back.
The 58-year-old friends alum took to Instagram to address the elephant in the room – Kanye West’s alleged viral diss of her long-running sitcom.
In a mini-clip, Cox playfully films herself reading West’s Instagram post where he explains that he never actually made this comment, but wished he had.

She captions the video: “I bet the old Kanye thought friends was funny ☹️.”
West cleared the air on Monday, explaining that a number of viral posts that are circulating online that claim to quotes from him, are fake.
He re-shared the headline-making post where he allegedly shared a text intended for his ex, Kim Kardashian, accusing her of having constant “diarrhea”.
In the caption he explains that this post was fake.
“Someone copied my style of text and wrote something not funny,” he said adding, “I know you guys gonna be disappointed but I actually didn’t write the [tweet] that said “Friends wasn’t funny either”…”
He added: “but I wish I had I’d love to know who thought of that I like to post comments.”

Under her video, plenty of fans played on Cox’s joke.
“I love Friends as much as Kanye loves Kanye,” one person wrote.
“Friends is THE BEST SHOW EVER,” another commented, referencing West’s famous diss of Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs.
